Toronto to Host Ghana–Canada 24-Hour Economy Investment Forum

Toronto, Ontario – June 2, 2026 – The Ghana–Canada 24-Hour Economy Investment Forum will be held on June 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre, Toronto (Frontenac Ballroom).

The forum is being organized by Kwakaf International and Strategic Communications Africa (Stratcomm Africa), in collaboration with the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, and the Ghana Tourism Authority.

The event will be chaired by His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, with Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang serving as the Special Guest of Honour. The gathering will bring together government officials, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and members of the diplomatic community from both Ghana and Canada.

The forum will highlight Ghana’s transformative 24-Hour Economy Initiative, spearheaded by President John Dramani Mahama, while showcasing investment opportunities across key sectors of the economy. Discussions will focus on trade expansion, industrial development, export growth, and strategic partnerships that strengthen economic cooperation between Ghana and Canada. More than 500 participants are expected to attend.

A major focus of the event will be Ghana’s flagship economic programmes—the 24-Hour Economy Initiative and the Accelerated Export Development Programme—which are designed to boost productivity, industrialization, value addition, export competitiveness, and private-sector-led growth.

Participants will gain valuable insights into Ghana’s evolving investment landscape and the country’s position as a preferred destination for business and investment in Africa. The forum will also create opportunities for Canadian companies seeking access to Ghana’s market and the broader African continent.
